Program Summary (Non-Credit • Closed-Loop)

The Shorelight Cash Blue Card is a reloadable stored-value card designed for exclusive use within the Shorelight Cash ecosystem — including participating merchants, couriers, and service providers. It is not a bank account, credit card, or line of credit. Balances are loaded in Bitcoin (BTC) and recorded in USD for program accounting. Rewards in SLC tokens may be earned where offered. All blockchain deposits are final once confirmed.

Merchant Discount Rate (MDR)

All merchant transactions are subject to a 1.8% Merchant Discount Rate (MDR), deducted at the time of settlement. The MDR supports blockchain processing, fraud protection, and ecosystem maintenance.

Permitted Transactions

Purchases of goods and services from registered Shorelight Cash merchants and couriers.
Transactions for automotive, dining, hospitality, retail, and local services within Shorelight zones.
Digital or physical purchases made through the Shorelight Marketplace.

Prohibited Transactions

Cash withdrawal, money transfer, or remittance services.
Off-platform crypto exchange, token speculation, or investment trades.
Gambling, firearms, restricted substances, or illegal commerce.
Peer-to-peer transfers outside the Shorelight network.

Funding and Quote Window

Each funding session generates a unique BTC address and fixed quote valid for 60 minutes.
Expired or partial payments require new quote generation.
Card balances update once blockchain confirmations complete.

Risk and Digital Asset Disclosure

Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Users must verify recipient addresses and payment amounts before sending. Value may fluctuate due to market volatility. Shorelight Cash does not guarantee conversion stability or investment returns. This program is not a bank account and funds are not FDIC-insured.

Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Use of this card constitutes acceptance of binding arbitration under Delaware law. Participants waive class action rights and may opt out by written notice within 30 days of activation. Arbitration covers all disputes arising from use of the Shorelight Cash program or related services.
